Chili Cook-Off 2012
This year's Chili Cook-Off was held at Mamie, Vanessa and Phil's house on October 28, 2012.
Six pots of chili were brought in and proclaimed the "winning pot" by their makers.
The contestants were: Jon Perkins, Lue Deen Perkins (Big Mama), Jacqui Roberts, Jennifer Wilkins, Margaret Myers and Marty Borntrager. Three brave people served as judges and after much debate proclaimed the winner and runner-up.
The Winner: Jon Perkins! and in the Number 2 Spot: Marty Borntrager!
We had hotdogs, chips, desserts and Marilyn Borntrager brought a seafood gumbo. Everything was delicious.
The kids had a great time playing outside and after dark there was singing and S'mores! Another great evening of Christian Fellowship.
